The sour patch kids lotus drink is dangerously good. It has the perfect sweet and tart combination that is very reminiscent of the gummy candies.
We chose the blue lotus energy concentrate base for this drink because of it’s flavoring. The blue lotus has a slight blue raspberry taste to it and works great in the sweet tart drinks.
The other flavors we used are blue raspberry, watermelon, and sweet and sour. This was our first time adding sweet and sour into a lotus drink and it was outstanding.
This drink does contain a little more sugar than a lot of our lotus drink recipes. However, you can easily bring down the sugar content by using the “skinny blue lotus” and sugar free syrups. I even found options for sugar free sweet and sour mix.
You can also add cream into this drink. However, we like it just the way it is without the cream. The flavors really of the sweet and sour really pop. Garnish it with candy if you want to get extra fancy or serve it to people.
